  • PHP Search: Page stops loading following a search attempt

This is a problem that we've had for quite a long time. The search function of the website has been sitting dormant since way before the upgrade to V5, however it has worked previously.

The search in question is www.landlordzone.co.uk/zoom/search.php

As you can see, when a search has taken place, the page stops loading from the <!--ZOOMSEARCH--> code onwards, and doesn't display any search results.

The program indexes successfully, and uploads successfully. I have looked in the example template, and can see nothing in there that may be required that isn't in the search template on LandlordZONE.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I think you are running the Apache web server and it is killing the PHP process on the server before the script has had time to finish. This is moderately common issue with cheap hosting companies that try to stop you placing any load on shared servers. See the link above for a more detailed description of the issue.
