  • Zoom Search Integration with WebHelp

    Hi,

Recently my company bought Zoom Search version 5.1. Most of our deliverables are in the webhelp format. We could integrate the search engine with our webhelp outputs. But, we faced the following problems:

    1. We created a new button using the Skin Editor in RoboHelp and linked it to the Search. html page, but were not able to give the button action to the new button. ( for example, if you clicked the Contents button and then clicked the Zoom Search button, the highlight will still be on the Contents button whereas the Search.html page is displayed on the right pane.)
    How can we modify this?

    2. We also tried to link the Custom Search button in WebHelp to the Search.html file by modifying the whtbar.js file generated by RoboHelp. This displayed both the Custom Search as well as the Zoom Search. Is it possible to replace the Custom Search with Zoomsearch so that the search page (search.html of Zoomsearch) and the results page are displayed on the left pane of the webhelp?

If you have come across any other method to implement this, pls share it in this thread.

    Regards,
    Sanjusha
