  • Raw File Indexing &Searching

    Hi all,
I am using zoom Search to index a number of files and folders that are stored on servers in my company. These files are not published on a website or webpage but are accessible internally via shared areas. I want to eventually put a search page onto the companies’ intranet in order to search files that are accessible to the whole company internally. None of the files are WebPages they are all documents, .pdfs .xls files etc. I understand that zoom search uses Meta data to index and refine its searches.

Once the files I wish to be indexed were indexed I tried out the search page and had the problem of the searches not being very specific. For example I searched for a document called “Licenses” and the result I wanted was on page 10. I think this is due to the fact the files I am indexing are not published on a webpage therefore they have no Meta data / tags?
Is there any way I can make the searches more refined so if I search for Licenses again the first results will be “Licenses.doc”?

You posted in the V5 forum and we no longer support V5.

In V7 in the Weightings configuration window you can adjust the file name weighting to make it more important than the content of the document.

No longer just big bears or gorillas, the popularity of giant stuffed animals have grown to encompass almost any animal imaginable. Not only that but there are limitless variations on the costumes these animals come dressed in. Perfect for any occasion, these great items make for the perfect way to add a whole dimension to holiday decorating. From Easter to Halloween, you can add life to any theme on any occasion.

Halloween is probably the most fun and creative theme to have giant stuffed animals be a part of. Because there are so many kinds to choose from, you can find snakes, bats, frogs, wolves, gorillas, monkeys and a whole lot more, all just for Halloween (giá gấu bông brown). It is easy to transform an ordinary decorated home into a haunted house, all for a lot less than many people think.

Another fun holiday to include giant stuffed animals in is Christmas. From stuffed snowmen to giant Santa bears, this magical and warm time of the year can come to life like never before. Along with the tree and lights, consider what your house would look like with some soft and cuddly creatures scattered around the house. One seasonal favorite in particular is the Reindeer.
