  • One Page Not Being Keyword Indexed?

    Hello,

I'm running V6 and noticed today that one of our pages isn't showing up in the results even though it's being indexed (I see a confirmation in the log)

Is there any way to tell what is causing this issue?

    Homepage: http://moorecoinc.com/
    The page in question: http://moorecoinc.com/product-view.php?category=furniture-059&series=brite-kids-chairs-141
    Example search: http://moorecoinc.com/product-search.php?query=34481&search=1

    Thank you for any insight!

After indexing the site did you upload a new set of index files. Maybe the index on the server is out of date? Or maybe they were uploaded to the wrong folder.

I had a look at your site. You are using a search script, product-search.php, which isn't our script. I did find a script called search.php script in an iFrame. But even that script doesn't seem to behave like it is our script.

Did you modify our script? If so can you try reverting to our default script.

I don't see any way to edit my original post, but this issue has been solved.

For whatever reason, these files became corrupted in the copying process from local machine to server - perhaps due to being "in use" by the server at the time of copy/replace? I had deleted/re-uploaded them once, but it took two times before the corrupted files were fully replaced.

Works as intended now - odd error. Hopefully this helps if someone else experiences similar issues.

      Thanks!

Is it possible a virus to do this which you think is being used by the time when copy/replace process is being made?
